Hi dear reader,
An honest message from me.
We've been a bit quieter these past few weeks. Perhaps you already sensed it. That something was shifting behind the scenes.
When I started SUITS for her, I knew that entrepreneurship wouldn't just be about highlights. That there would be moments of growth, but also of doubt. In recent months, I was forced to take a truly honest look. At the brand. At its direction. At myself.
And I came to a conclusion: the way I have built SUITS for her so far is not sustainable. And perhaps even more importantly: it's no longer what I want.
Because I started SUITS for her from a deep conviction: empowering ambitious women. That has always been the core. But somewhere along the way, I got a little carried away with that. The focus shifted to the perfect suit. To the image. To the product. While it was never just about that.
SUITS for her stands for creating perfect moments. Moments when you walk into a room and think: yes, I belong here. Moments when your appearance isn't superficial, but an extension of your strength.
Lately, I felt like I was driving in circles on a roundabout with three exits. The first exit was to continue as is. The second was to stop. The third was to change everything.
And I kept driving in circles. Because every exit was daunting. Because I saw entrepreneurs and brands around me accelerating. And somehow, that made me insecure.
I wanted to accelerate too. But deep down I also knew: if the foundation isn't right, running harder is pointless. So I did something that seemed to go against everything.
I slowed down. I reflected. I spoke with like-minded people.
And now, three months later, that decision stands firm. Things are changing. We're going back to the essence. To why SUITS for her ever began. To empowering ambitious women at the moments that matter in their lives.
The suit is and remains a powerful symbol for us. But it will no longer be the center of everything. Because it's bigger than that. It's about connection. About truly meeting each other. About meaningful conversations. About growing together. About being seen. About making memories. About being present at the moments when you want to make a difference.
Not about launching collection after collection, just because that's how the fashion world works. We're going to do things differently. The suits aren't central, you are. Not just online, but physically. Face to face. Shoulder to shoulder. Closer to the essence. Closer to each other.
I find that exciting. Very exciting, even. Because you don't get certainty for free. But some choices you don't feel in your head, you feel them in everything. And this feels good. This feels familiar. This feels like the beginning of something that should have always been much closer to what SUITS for her was meant to be.
And that's why I can now, with great enthusiasm, tell you something wonderful: we will see each other monthly. Yes, really. SUITS for her will now organize monthly events. For ambitious women who want to grow. Who want to connect. Who want to invest in their appearance, their development, and in each other.
Our event page is now open. Expect an inspiring space full of like-minded women. Women who don't compete with each other, but empower each other.
Discover the possibilities for your perfect suit live. Get personal advice from our advisors. Attend workshops. Feel fabrics. View styles. Customize. Discover. Deepen.
A new journey is beginning. A journey where encounters are central.
I am greatly looking forward to meeting you.
And to continuing the conversations we've had online, in person!
Thank you for being part of SUITS for her. Here's to a promising future – together!
A powerful greeting,
Sarah
